HEA-VON GAINS RECOGNITON FROM 50 CENT

IDEPENDENT ON THE MOVE

Musicians from all over came to be apart of a rare opportunity to perform in front of major record label executives at a music industry showcase. Who Is She Records along with other sponsors assembled the music industry night showcase at Club HK in New York. The event had industry leaders from G-Unit, Violator and Bad Boy Records. It was a sold out success. Amongst the many artists that performed at the event, Hea-Von gave the most electrifying performance and quickly gained the attention of G-Unit executive Kevin Weekes, which lead to a one on one meeting and performance for Curtis (50 Cent) Jackson. “There's definitely nobody out there like her….she's really good and most importantly she's got her own style……” – 50 Cent. Hea-Von has been getting recognition on 50's Most Wanted twitter as well. “Who Is She?"...A Helluva soul artist that’s on the verge of big things...” – 50sMostWanted Twitter. Originally from Detroit, MI, Hea-Von has built a following on the Detroit and Atlanta hip-hop scene as a highly sought after entertainer. The rapper, singer, and song writer has performed all over the Midwest and has collaborated with many established artist such as MC Breed and GMC (Get Money Crew). She is now in New York maintaining her new office of Who Is She Records, a label she started in 2006. Hea-Von is currently working on her solo album, which she plans on releasing in late 2010, along with the album’s first single, “#1 D-Girl (Driven).”

LADY N-CHANTMENT

Lady N-Chantment hails from the hospitality state, Mississippi, and is taking the dirty south by storm. Born in Mississippi, Amanda Dear Jones, aka Lady N-Ointment, acknowledges her mother and grandmother as her most influential role models. “They taught me not only in words but through actions as well." Lady N-Ointment attended APAC, the Academic and Performing Arts Complex for voice where she began developing as an artist. She credits the late great, Soulja Slim as a mentor--she remembers his advice, "Always be true to yourself, you can't please everybody. You are truly special but no one will ever know that until you believe it yourself!" In 2006 she got her big break when she opened for Juvenile in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She will be forever grateful to Lil' Boosie Bad Azz for playing an influential role in her music. Lady N-Chantment is ready for 2010. She has started her own record label, "Act Like You KNow" Records, she is finishing her first album "Some Serious," and has hired former Def Jam Record Executive Jon Sockton to advise in her career. She gives it all up to GOD because she knows that the journey is just as important as the destination.
